Where to Find Your Documents For U.S. Workers W-2 Form (Employees) 1099 Form (Independent Contractors) For Canadian Workers T4 Slip (Employees) Important Reminders

As the year wraps up, it’s important to access your personal tax documents so you’re prepared for tax season. Through your Worker Portal, you can easily view and download all tax forms issued specifically to you.

All end-of-year documents are available directly within your portal dashboard. These forms are specific to your employment or contractor status and can be downloaded anytime once they are finalized.

Where to Find Your Documents

Employees can access all year-end documents in the top-right section of their dashboard. From there, you’ll be able to view and download their respective forms.

For U.S. Workers

Depending on your classification, you will receive one of the following:

W-2 Form (Employees)

If you are classified as an employee, you will receive a W-2 form. This document summarizes:

Total wages earned during the year

Federal, state, and local taxes withheld

Social Security and Medicare contributions

Your W-2 is filed with the Internal Revenue Service and is required when filing your personal tax return.

1099 Form (Independent Contractors)

If you are classified as an independent contractor, you will receive a 1099 form (typically 1099-NEC). This form reports:

Total payments made to you during the year

Unlike employees, taxes are not withheld from contractor payments. You are responsible for reporting income and managing your own tax obligations. Your 1099 is also submitted to the IRS for reporting purposes.

For Canadian Workers

T4 Slip (Employees)

If you are employed in Canada, you will receive a T4 slip, which outlines:

Total employment income

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) contributions

Employment Insurance (EI) contributions

Income tax deducted

Your T4 is submitted to the Canada Revenue Agency and is required for filing your personal tax return.

Important Reminders

Forms are only available once finalized for the tax year.

Be sure to download and save copies for your records.

Review your information carefully and contact support if anything appears incorrect.

Your Worker Portal provides secure, 24/7 access to your personal tax documents, helping you stay organized and ready for tax season.
